Blue

It is official.

The post-Amazing Race state of sadness and depression has officially descended upon my soul.

How will we survive without the suspense, the excitement, the detours and roadblocks for another several months?  How will we go on without getting to see Phil point his finger into the distance and arch his eyebrows?

Yes, that's right.  We now have another 'free' hour in the week as the void left by Amazing Race is once again upon us.

Is it only January?  Do we really have to wait 'til September for the next installment of the greatest show ever to be on the television to reappear filling all our hearts with joy?  That seems like forever.  I suppose American Idol will help us pass the time... But it's just not the same.

My darling children, who are now nearly as devoted to The Race as I am, will pass the time by perfecting their mat-leaping abilities... "Clark and Claire, you are Team Number One!" ...followed by hugs and jumping up and down.  By the time they can appear on the show it'll be Amazing Race 25...

Until the next time... may all your roadblocks be easy, may you never face a U-Turn, may you be passed over for every yield, may your pit stop be right around the next bend, and may you never be sorry to hear that you've been eliminated from the race.

Excruciatingly and melodramatically yours,
~lk

It was a crazy season. I'm just glad that the gay preachers didn't win. :)

Nice.

Remember the season they started a new season almost immediately? Good times.

I wish Kynt and Vixen would have won.
