Chocolate Biscuits Everywhere!!

I just can't stop eating them....there are chocolate biscuits everywhere here in Germany!

Over the last three days, I have had an INCREDIBLE amount of coffee, tea and chocolate biscuits.... 'Biscuits' here in Germany are really cookies. And somehow they are some of the most delicious cookies I have ever had!

They have chocolate cookies at coffee break.

They have chocolate cookies after dinner.

They have chocolate cookies during 'German cake and coffee time' which is separate from the 'regular' coffee time we had earlier in the day.

They have chocolate cookies at the special 'country booth' displays that all the representative countries set up.

They have chocolate cookies in the small grocery store in my hotel... which I cannot resist buying.

...and there are chocolate cookies that my friend/colleague Molly from London brought for me!

I am pleasantly overwhelmed with chocolate cookies and I just can't stop eating them.

Thankfully for my waistline I have to walk everywhere over this HUGE resort campus so I should be able to walk off most of the chocolate biscuits I am consuming.

I love chocolate buscuits!!

Every time I go away and then return back to this place that I enthusiastically call home, I am always reminded of the many things that I love about living here.  I've just returned from a week in the US and upon my return after the trip have been once again bombarded with the small delights that bring me a great and genuine sense of joy in my everyday existence.   For your reading enjoyment and your vicarious delight, here are just a few. 1. My hair dries more quickly and completely here. 2. Morning air does not produce a sore throat. 3. The slower pace of life allows me my much cherished time to think and read and write. 4. It's my birthday - happy birthday to me!  Let's see what the Lord had to say to me this morning in my time of reflection. Claire and Leah cutting the cake at the party Leah's boss Joseph threw From Psalm 103:1-14 God does these things for us: 1. Extends benefits to us...
